We've all been pulled over for speeding at some point - if you haven't been, just wait, it'll happen. It's pretty much inevitable.

Regardless of what type of officer pulls you over - local police department, sheriff's office, state trooper, etc. - the one common question that gets asked is this: Do you have a reason for going that fast?" Usually, if you're honest, the answer is no. The truth is that people quit paying attention to the speedometer, or just choose to go over the speed limit, not because of a necessity, but just wanting to get to where they're going faster.

Now, there are times when going a bit faster - not dangerously faster - might make a bit more sense, and those tend to revolve around health issues/life-or-death situations. Keep in mind, you still chose to break the law, so you're still subject to a fine. However, there might be leniency if you do get pulled over and you really are in one of those situations.

Regardless of that, as I was thinking about all of this, I realized that there could be some reasons for going a bit faster in Nacogdoches. But only in Nacogdoches would certain reasons make sense. Take a look for yourself and see if you could see yourself telling any of these to an officer.
