Visit Local Sites and Win with the Nacogdoches Summer Scavenger Hunt
Throughout the summer in Nacogdoches, there are all kinds of events going on. There are art exhibits, shows at the SFA Planetarium, sports camps, vacation bible schools, and more. One of the events going on this summer is actually taking place right now.
Nacogdoches Summer Scavenger Hunt Goes on Until August 7th
This summer, the city of Nacogdoches is putting on the Nacogdoches Summer Scavenger Hunt. It actually kicked off on May 29th, but it goes on through August 7th. This gives participants - kids and adults - the chance to visit the historic and cultural art sites around town. It also gives them a chance to win prizes!

The way it works is simple. According to the Nacogdoches city website, participants pick up their scavenger hunt guide from one of the 11 participating sites. Then, they go visit each site to get answers to the questions on the guide. After visiting the last site, they leave their completed scavenger hunt their with their contact information. Participants that have completed the scavenger hunt are then entered into a drawing to win gift baskets that have items that have been donated from each site. If they make it to all 11 sites, they're entered into one drawing. If they make it into 5-10 sites, they're entered into another category.
