You have all heard the slogan "being in the right place at the right time", and I have always wondered if divine intervention is associated with this.

The date was March 23 at Maroney Park in Nacogdoches, where Ashley Price was in "the right place at the right time".  She came upon an unconscious man in a car, already turning blue, and Price knew immediately that time was of the utmost essence.

According to the American Heart Association, brains cells start dying around the four to six minute mark if the victim is unable to breathe, and from six to eight minutes, if breathing is not restored, the rate of survival is cut in half.

Thankfully, Price was trained in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and revived the man three times until Nacogdoches fire arrived on the scene.

Say, would you like to learn CPR?  Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital offers classes in this life saving technique.  Call 936.559.2541 for more details.

It's just too bad that Ashely wasn't around to save Lorraine Bayless:
