The Absolute Worst Intersection in Nacogdoches
Every town has them. They're just something that you have to deal with. The only problem is that some of them are worse than others. No, I'm not talking about speed traps, grocery stores, or HOAs. I'm talking about intersections. But not just the regular four-way stops, I'm talking about the ones that make you question whether it's worth it to even drive through at all.
Nacogdoches Is No Exception to Weird Intersections
There are some rather questionable intersections in Nacogdoches. I mean, let's face it, with a state university right in the middle of town, you're going to have some strange road designs somewhere. Not to mention the potential for all kinds of traffic flow craziness that might be brought in with the work to build the interstate on the south side of town. And of course, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention any of the railroad crossings that are found all throughout the city. But where is the absolute worst intersection in Nacogdoches...?

And The Winner of Worst Nacogdoches Intersection Is...
Anyone that has spent any amount of time in Nacogdoches could have probably already guessed, or at least can now agree, that the worst intersection is the East Seale Street / South Fredonia Street / Hackberry Street five-way intersection right in front of the Fredonia Early Childhood Learning Center. I mean, look at this thing on the map:
Maybe there are some other intersections around Nacogdoches that are on this same level of crazy, but I sure haven't seen them. This one definitely takes the title for worst intersection in my book.
