There are many ways for thieves to get their hands on your personal information these days. Not only do we have to be wary online, but the old-fashioned way criminals go about stealing your personal information is still a threat.

Angelina Beautiful/Clean is giving us a chance to get rid of those unwanted sensitive documents with their "Shred Day" event. They will be at the Angelina County Chamber of Commerce at 1615 South Chestnut Street on April 22nd, 2022 from 9 am to 12 pm.

Bring all of your sensitive documents and they will be disposed of in an eco-friendly way. This secure onsite disposal will be done by Security Shredding.

Shred Your Documents For Free At This Event In Lufkin, Texas

Though the event is technically free, they are asking for donations. These donations will help further their mission of beautifying Angelina County.

Businesses are welcome to bring their documents, but are limited to five boxes. Angelina County residents can bring old tax documents, bank statements, and medical records and they will be shredded at no cost.

This will offer you peace of mind that they are completely destroyed. You can just shred it and forget it.

Stop Shredding Your Sensitive Documents By Hand And Save Time

Time is money and taking each piece of paper or mail and tearing it up can be time-consuming. If you rip apart one piece of mail and it takes you 30 seconds, doing that every day could add up to hours after a year.

For questions about this event contact Emily Thorton at 936-632-5326 or via email at ethornton@lufkintexas.org.
