By now, everyone is familiar with the cute and lovable Hello Kitty. Perhaps someone at Sanrio, the company behind the character, watched some of our viral videos (watch below) in which we've had some of rock and metal's biggest stars play on Hello Kitty children's instruments, as they've unveiled a new character: 'Aggretusko,' the office-hating red panda that apparently can hang with Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Maria Brink (In This Moment) and the likes at karaoke!

In the clip above, Sanrio announced Aggretsuko, offering a glimpse into the daily life of the single, 25-year-old female, who is also a Scorpio with blood type A. Riding public transit for a half hour before getting to the high-rise office, Aggretsuko is immediately swamped with work, and the stress boils into blind rage.

As she drifts into thought, she pictures a place where she can unleash all this anger, which transforms into an angsty scene. Screaming lines about being fed up with work, wishing she could put her co-workers in place, Aggretsuko belts out some death metal at karaoke before she's interrupted by someone at work, ending the daydream fantasy. You can also watch our own writer doing some punishing karaoke on Instagram.

It remains to be seen if this new character repeatedly dips into the world of heavy metal, but given the meteoric rise of Babymetal, it could be possible. The teen idol group incorporates extreme vocals in their sound and have landed opening spots for major acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N' Roses.
