On Friday, October 29th, 2021 from 3 pm until 5 pm Downtown Lufkin is having their 32nd annual Halloween Trick-Or-Treat. Downtown merchants will welcome your little munchkins and monsters to downtown.

This annual event is all about a safe Trick-Or-Treat during daylight hours. You can walk around with the kids downtown and visit all of the businesses.

In the past, the route has been First Street, Burke Ave, Third Street, and East Lufkin Avenue. It makes a square and keeps everything in a designated area downtown.

How Will I Know?

Walking downtown it will be easy to spot participating businesses. Look for the Halloween decorations around the entrance.

Kids twelve and under are invited to participate. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

There will be many businesses set up that signed up to be a part of the event that don't have a downtown location. There will also be various vendors downtown.

Who Can Give Out Candy?

Do you think that it is far better to give than receive on Halloween? Even if you are not already a downtown merchant, there is a way.

If your business would like to set up a booth to give out candy you can sign up for a space. The Downtown Trick Or Treat Form should be filled out as soon as possible.

Let's Go!

There are a lot of new businesses downtown that you should check out. My favorite is The White Peacock Olive Oil and Vinegar Company. Get the house balsamic for your own Halloween treat; it's awesome.
