Should We Be Expecting Another TP Shortage…?

Think back to March...COVID-19 was just going into full swing, and people were buying items out of fear of not being able to get them later. Two of the items that flew off shelves faster than anything else were toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

Now, we keep hearing that cases are going back up again. The hand sanitizer, I'm not as worried about. After all, if you wash your hands - LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING WAYYYY BEFORE COVID-19 CAME ALONG - you shouldn't have to worry as much. No, it might not be as "convenient" as a bottle of hand sanitizer, but it gets the job done.

But, the more pressing question here is this: Should we be expecting another toilet paper shortage? Will we walk into the store, turn down the toilet paper aisle, and see completely empty shelves where the TP should be? Are we going to be watching people throw down - again - in the grocery store over that roll of extra-soft?

Understand this: I'm not trying to stir anything up here, and I won't be one of the ones rushing to the store to buy six packages of toilet paper just to "be ready". I'm just curious to know if another shortage is coming. I might go out and buy an extra package if needed, but there's no need to buy out the store, really.
