A Texas woman teamed up with her husband in 2023 to create an incredibly detailed gingerbread Buc-ee’s inspired by the Bastrop location, complete with snowy scenes, tiny signs, and gingerbread versions of her real-life co-workers.
Buc-ee's has confirmed grand opening details for their newest location on I-10. Louisiana fans of the travel center now have a date and time to be first in line.
To be honest, some of us might already have attempted to guess the answer to this question. But many hardcore fans have asked it on Facebook.
According to a story shared by MySanAntonio.com, a man named Dale Oldham asked:
"Why don't Buc-ee's have a place to eat food bought there? It would at least be nice to have picnic tables outside somewhere."
The Texas man did try to reach out to Buc-ee's to see if they wanted to work together on this, but he received zero response. So, he decided to do it himself.
Over the six years she has worked for Williamson County, she must've formed some solid relationships with her co-workers, because Vaters placed cut-outs of her fellow employees in the snowy scene.
Fans of Buc-ee's in Louisiana can stop going to the rumor mill. The over-the-top travel stop has confirmed news that many Louisiana fans don't want to hear.
