Stationed here at SFA, Sergeant Zinck works as a full-time recruiter for the Texas Army National Guard and as a liaison to the Lumberjack Battalion ROTC.  His military career started in 1985, when he joined the U.S. Navy immediately after finishing high school.  His time in the Navy took him on multiple deployments aboard the aircraft carriers USS Constellation and the USS Nimitz.
