1st Lieutenant Kyle Locke began his Army Career as an enlisted soldier with the Texas Army National Guard in 2002. He attended Basic Training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and completed AIT at the US Army Signal School at Ft. Gordon, GA in 2003 as the Distinguished Honor Graduate.

Stationed here at SFA, Sergeant Zinck works as a full-time recruiter for the Texas Army National Guard and as a liaison to the Lumberjack Battalion ROTC.  His military career started in 1985, when he joined the U.S. Navy immediately after finishing high school.  His time in the Navy took him on multiple deployments aboard the aircraft carriers USS Constellation and the USS Nimitz.

His military career began in October 1976 enlisted in the Regular Army as Quartermaster Supply Specialist. He attended Basic at Fort Knox, Kentucky and AIT-Advance Individual Training at Fort Lee, Virginia.
