Ever since the Ghostbusters reboot has been announced (with an all-female cast) the film has been harshly judged, sight unseen. Today, director Paul Feig has officially revealed the Ghostbusters trailer, so now we can judge the film on its own merits...

There is a significant figurine for sale at the New York Toy Fair, currently in progress. The convention brings together toy and collectible enthusiasts from far and wide to gape in amazement at next season’s releases and peruse the wares of rows and rows of vendors...

Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters hits theaters in just five months, and while we’ve seen plenty of photos and toys based on the upcoming film, we’ve yet to see any actual footage. That sort of changes today, as Sony has released an announcement trailer featuring the first glimpse of footage (it’s quite foreboding) along with the promise of a real, honest-to-goodness trailer…in March.

A recent preview of the Ghostbusters LEGO set revealed not only the trusty ol’ Ecto-1, but an interesting new vehicle — the Ecto-2. We weren’t sure if the motorcycle would be making an appearance in the film, or if it was simply a fun bonus for the toy set. Sony has released a new image of the real Ecto-2 from the set of Paul Feig’s upcoming film, confirming that the new vehicle is indeed very much real.

With the exception of those new photos the other day, we haven’t seen much on director Paul Feig’s upcoming Ghostbusters reboot. While most summer movies have at least provided a teaser trailer by now, we still don’t know much about this new ghost busting adventure...

Early this morning, Sony Pictures relaunched the official site for Ghostbusters, the home of the original two movies, the cartoons and the upcoming reboot. Along with the relaunch, we got five new photos from the film, each highlighting one of the main characters from the movie, including our first look at Chris Hemsworth as the new Ghostbusters secretary. Eat your heart out, Janine Melnitz!

A couple of months ago we learned that Game of Thrones star Charles Dance (aka Tywin Lannister) is appearing in Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters, though his part in the upcoming film remains a mystery. Is he a ghost? A human? More importantly, he has to be playing a bad guy, right? You don’t get Charles Dance and cast him as a good guy…or do you? The actor has dropped a few hints about his part in Ghostbusters, and it sounds like he’ll be playing against type.

The lack of characters like Rey and Black Widow in Star Wars and Marvel merchandising has inspired fans to start hashtags to hopefully force Disney to make more toys and action figures featuring these beloved leading ladies. While we wait for the folks at Disney to come to their senses, Paul Feig is ensuring we’ll never have to ask where any of his Ghostbusters are, as he’s revealed action figure prototypes for all four of the lead actors in his upcoming film. Yep, soon you can buy Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy action figures. What a time to be alive!

Just the other day we saw our first official photo from Ghostbusters (minus the previous posed, publicity photos) and today we have the first four posters from the film, highlighting our new set of Ghostbusters in Paul Feig’s upcoming reboot.

There’s still quite a while to go until the July 15, 2016 release date of Paul Feig’s all-female Ghostbusters reboot, but the fires of fan anticipation must be continually stoked if they’re going to burn strong enough to last through the winter, and the wasteland of pop-cultural apathy that is the month of January...

If you grew up in the ’90s, you probably remember Ecto-Cooler, the Ghostbusters-branded Hi-C flavor with the cartoon version of Slimer on the box. The slime-colored drink first became popular following the debut of The Real Ghostbusters animated series, and remained on shelves for years after the show ended. But thanks to Paul Feig's new Ghostbusters movie, the Ecto-Cooler might be making a comeback.
