The comment was sparked by Gov. Abbott's super last minute vetoing of SB 3. A bill banning all THC products strongly supported by the Lt. Gov. but unpopular among Texans.
The governor says the special session will begin in October and if the legislature cannot accomplish the executive branch's goal of creating a version of school choice, nobody will be getting any recess until it is finished.
It isn't just some businesses where you'll be required to wear a mask. There are other places in Texas where if you don't wear one, there could be consequences.
"More counties will continue to be re-requested as TX receives info reported from individuals who have suffered damage from the winter storm," says Gov. Abbott.
I've not had comments shot my way when wearing a mask. But, I've gotten a dirty look or two. Y'all, wearing a mask isn't a political statement. This is science.
