Houston Texans

The preseason game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans is now officially canceled. Ticketholders can get a refund or donate to relief efforts.

The Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans were scheduled to play in Houston Thursday. The city is dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane right now and the team wants the game to go on.

If you're a firefighter in East Texas, there's a big, strong, beefy pro football player that has a lot of respect and admiration for you.  JJ Watt of the Houston Texans tried firefighter training, and said it kicked his butt!

Football season for the Houston Texans may be several months away, but the quest to become one of their cheerleaders has entered into the final stages.

Uhh..you could say it's a tough start for the Dallas Cowboys next season.  IF the season happens of course, pending the outcome of the ongoing labor dispute.  The Boys open up the season with the first two games on the road, at the Jets and at the 49ers.  As Gerry Fraley at the Dallas Morning News points out, they will practice in the Central time zone and play in the Eastern and Pacific time zone
