There's a dual threat of strong tornadoes and flooding across a significant portion Deep East Texas

More flooding is possible across the Pineywoods on Tuesday. Severe storms are also a threat. A Flood Watch has been issued

A tornado watch is in effect for much of Deep East Texas until 8 this evening.

Here's a summary of the National Weather Service's findings on the Northeast Texas tornado that traveled from Lake Hawkins towards Gilmer Lake.

Lufkin, Nacogdoches and much of the Pineywoods are at risk of significant severe weather including EF2+ tornadoes on Saturday. A Tornado Watch has been issued for Angelina and Nacogdoches Counties through Friday evening.

Strong tornadoes with 111+ mph winds and golf ball sized hail are expected with this 'Significant Severe Weather' outbreak.
