We know you always obey the seat belt law and buckle up, but just in case you need some encouragement, the annual Click it or Ticket campaign starts Monday, and officers will be looking to hand tickets to unbuckled folks. And what's the rule for the kids and booster seats?

Wednesday will be one of the busiest travel days of the year, and it's not just carloads of people headed to Grandma's house who will be on the road.  State troopers will be out there too, watching for speeders, drunk drivers, and those who aren't wearing seat belts.

One person died Monday in an accident on US 59 involving two 18-Wheelers and a school bus. The road was still closed Tuesday morning because of the cleanup and investigation, and detours were set up. The Lufkin School District says three children and the driver were the only ones on board the bus at the time, and none of them needed treatment for anything other than minor injuries.
