V-Day

On the list of Valentine Getaways, so far we've been through four. For number five, we decided to go with something pretty simple.

For the #4 idea on the Valentine Getaway list, we decided to go a little closer to our neck of the woods. Namely, Lake Toledo Bend.

So far, the Valentine Getaway ideas have been San Antonio and New Orleans. Both of those are a lot of fun, and #3 has the potential to be just as good.

For the second idea, we decided that we'd go one state over, into Louisiana. New Orleans it is. Laissez le bon temps rouler!

Now that we are EXACTLY ONE WEEK AWAY from V-Day, it's time to kick this list off.

Between now and V-Day, I'll be listing some awesome Valentine's Day Getaways that are within driving distance - some of them actually IN Deep East Texas.
