This is truly making the best of a bad situation. We know that last year was a bad wildfire season. In fact it was the worst season for wildfires since the Texas Forest Service started keeping records in 1922. Some talented artists though have made art from the ashes, and now that's on display at the Texas Forestry Museum in Lufkin.

The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department released this footage of a wildfire consuming the 6,000-acre Bastrop State Park, where, as of Tuesday, all but 100 acres have been blackened while firefighters battle to save a number of historic Civilian Conservation Corps cabins.
