Tom Petty was reportedly planning a tour centered on his 1994 solo album 'Wildflowers' at the time of his death.

If Tom Petty can finally nail down a long-planned reissue of 'Wildflowers,' he wants to play an expanded version of the 1994 solo project in concert in 2017.

It's the time of year in Texas when a bluebonnet patch can draw dozens of freshly bathed kids in their cutest clothes, along with those amazing parents-of-the-year armed with high tech zoom lenses ready to upload the photos to online scrapbooks right away to share with Grandma and Grandpa in Poughkeepsie.  And then there are the rest of us.  This was kind of a disaster.

Tom Petty has just released "Somewhere Under Heaven," co-written with Mike Campbell for 1994's Wildflowers but left unheard until now.
