When you are looking for a new family member it's sometimes difficult to see how things will turn out. Playful Zoey was adopted out of the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter when she was a baby.

She is a dachshund mix, and she got bigger than her first owners imagined. She is now a medium-sized dog and once she is full-grown will be around 20-25 pounds.

Zoey is still just a puppy. She is around five months old and very sweet and playful.

Back In The Shelter

Zoey has found herself back at the shelter. It's a great opportunity for someone to add all of her energy to their family.

She has been kept up to date on her vaccinations and is ready to be spayed and kept on heartworm prevention. Everyone at the shelter agrees that Zoey is a treat.

If you need a new playful addition to your family this might just be the little nugget you are looking for. Let's get her back out of the shelter as quickly as possible.
