DC’s Titans are officially coming together. Weeks after announcing a young Raven, the new digital platform series has officially found its Starfire in 24: Legacy alum Anna Diop.

Per Deadline, Diop’s Starfire (or Koriand’r) is described as “an alien princess from a warrior planet who seeks asylum on Earth. A no-nonsense, take-no-prisoners stranger on our world, she has the ability to shoot energy bolts and fly. Searching for her place on Earth, she’ll come into contact with the Titans.” Diop joins young Australian star Teagan Croft, who takes the role of Raven in the 2018 series.

Here’s the synopsis for the series, which will air on DC’s upcoming digital service:

“Titans” follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. “Titans” is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.

Currently eyed for 2018, the new live-action Titans will be written by Akiva Goldsman, DC boss Geoff Johns and DC TV leader Greg Berlanti. The initial synopsis only listed Dick Grayson, Starfire and Raven by name, though Johns hinted over Twitter that comic staple Beast Boy would be making an appearance as well.

The initial press release included a classic cover for The New Teen Titans that features Raven, Starfire, Kid Flash, Robin, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Wonder Girl, though Kid Flash already appears on The CW’s Flash, while Cyborg was prominently elevated to the live-action Justice League. Not only that, but the original TNT Titans script was said to feature Dick Grayson as Robin (a Boston detective!), along with Barbara Gordon (using a wheelchair, but not called “Oracle”) and Hawk and Dove, with Raven and Starfire showing up at the pilot’s end.

We’ll likely learn more in the coming weeks, but which of the Titans will we meet next?
