
Two Reported Dead in College Station Shooting
Police confirm two people have died after today’s shooting near the Texas A&M campus. KBTX reports the gunman is in custody.
KBTX reports Brazos County Constable Brian Bachmann, along with a male civilian, have died as a result of their injuries sustained during the shooting, which reportedly came from a nearby house with an automatic weapon.
Police say two other officers and a civilian are hospitalized, their conditions are unknown.
Law officers said the suspect, who was shot by police before taken into custody, was firing shots from a house near the campus across from football stadium Kyle Field.
