Around Nacogdoches, we're pretty big fans of our local law enforcement officers. We see them making appearances at different grade schools around town on the first day of school (and other events there throughout the year), we see them stopping by to help find forever homes for animals in the animal shelter, we see them attending parades, etc. Like I said, we're pretty big fans.

And next week, the community gets the chance to meet them and have a cup of coffee with them.

On Wednesday, October 2nd, from 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM, the Nacogdoches Police Department is inviting everyone out to the McDonald's at 1717 North Street for "Coffee With A Cop". They say this is "A chance to get to know the officers in your neighborhood."

Everyone that attends not only gets the chance to meet and get to know the Nacogdoches officers a bit better, but they will also receive a complimentary McCafe Premium Roast Coffee while they're there.

The Nacogdoches Police Department posted this on their Facebook page yesterday. Feel free to share and make plans to be at the McDonald's across the street from SFA on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 7:30 - 9:30 AM to have "Coffee With A Cop".
