Keeping your preschool-aged children entertained and challenged during the day is a tall order for most households. That's where Zoo Tots shines.

This class is designed to start a lifetime of interest in animals. If you have children ages 2-4 years old registration is now open for February.

Classes are 30 minutes long. They will be held twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays in February at Ellen Trout Zoo.

What's That Cost?

It only costs $80 a month for the 8 class series.  Times are 9 - 9:30 am or  9:30 - 10 am. You will select one time slot that continues throughout the month.

There will be no refunds for missed classes in the series. The zoo will open registration later this month for March and April classes.

What's Included

Each class will include an animal encounter. Your little ones will get some one-on-one time with some age-appropriate animals.

You can also look forward to storytime and a special activity. I do mean you because all children must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone.

One adult must attend and participate with the student, but there is no additional fee for your attendance. Older or younger siblings are welcome, but may not be allowed to participate due to limited activity supplies or due to age.

Here are 14 Exotic Animals That You Can Own in Texas
