Gary Ivins here, a.k.a the Bignasty. I started out a Crockett bulldog, but now I bleed panther Purple. I'm married to my best friend(head cheerleader for the pack in 1996 by the way)and we have 3 great kids and a pet pig named Bacon Bit. I like to golf, take my boys hunting and my girls shopping. Being the voice of the Lufkin Panthers is a dream come true. There is nothing better than seeing 10,000 fans at Outlaw Memorial Field under the Friday night lights cheering on our Panthers. Some of my favorite memories include coach Outlaw's 300th win, Coach Quick's 1st win, Panther baseball's 2009 run to state and the basketball team's 1st playoff win since 1993. A wise man once told me, "Never be afraid to show your emotion, it lets people know that you care." -COACH JOHN OUTLAW(1953-2011). Those are the words I live by day after day.
