Hot on the heels of last month's Concrete and Gold album, Foo Fighters have unveiled another brand new song, entitled "Soldier."

The five-minute long track, which finds Grohl's subdued vocals contrasting nicely with (we're assuming) Taylor Hawkins' propulsive drumbeat, is part of a new compilation entitled 7-inches for Planned Parenthood. Sleater-Kinney, Bjork and Bon Iver are among the dozens of artists who contributed to the collection, which is available for on-line streaming or purchase in box set form.

As explained by the compilation's website, "Lawmakers with extreme views are working hard to shut down Planned Parenthood. If they succeed, millions of Americans will lose access to basic health services, including STD testing and treatment, birth control, and cancer screenings. 7-inches for Planned Parenthood is a response to this threat. This curated series of records is made by a group of people who believe that access to health care is a public good that should be fiercely protected. Planned Parenthood will receive 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the box set and streaming listens."
