Long-Term Relationships May Not Be All That Long Term
I ran across an article today that said the average long term relationship lasts for two years and nine months.
Don't look at your watch! I'm sure yours will last much longer.
But why are these relationships caving?
Social media gets some of the blame. Sometimes we spend too much of our day online and our significant others get mad and break up with us. And there are occasions when we're meeting other people online and thinking they're better than what we have, and we ditch one 2-year-and-nine-month relationship for another one.
So Happy Valentine's Day!
This research came from the UK, but something tells me our British friends aren't that much different than we are.
And if you're in a five, ten, fifteen, or fifty year relationship, good for you! Apparently we are not yet Facebook friends. Congrats!
