The internet will surely be working next Thursday, and Thanksgiving Day is supposed to be the biggest online shopping day of the year now.  So the stores being closed won't stop us from spending money there.  We can just do it from the laptop, while it's resting on our bellies that are bloated full with turkey and pumpkin pie.
