One couple is feverishly looking for a lost dog in Nacogdoches, after the dog went missing Friday night.

The couple was in the area from El Paso, visiting family in East Texas, when the dog became lost.

This dog is unique, because it's a service dog that helps its owner deal with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after she served in Afghanistan.

KTRE reports the dog's name is Shonyo, and owner Jaclyn O'Shea served on Special Forces in Afghanistan gathering intelligence information.

The Nacogdoches Animal Shelter and the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office are helping with the search, along with family and friends of O'Shea.  If you know anything about the dog, Shonyo, call (806) 340-4596 or (915) 667-0394.
