Bruce Springsteen was the guest of honor during modern-rock act Gaslight Anthem’s concert in Asbury Park, N.J., on Friday (Dec. 9). Springsteen joined the band mid-set to sing and play guitar on ‘American Slang,’ according to a report by Rolling Stone.

Guns N’ Roses fans in Nashville, Tenn. got a surprise on Sunday night as the band reached deep into their catalog to perform ‘Civil War’ for the first time since Slash was still on Axl Rose‘s Christmas card list. Rose’s recent inclusion of songs from the ‘Use Your Illusion’ albums that he’d long ignored has his supporters in a tizzy.
