Travellers At A Site Next To Former Illegal Settlement At Dale Farm
BASILDON, ENGLAND – JANUARY 21: Rubbish lies in the area of the Dale Farm traveller’s camp cleared of residents and structures by Basildon Council on January 21, 2012 in Basildon, England. Approximately 80 travellers families were evicted from the six acre area of the Dale Farm site in October 2011 following a ten-year legal battle costing 18 million GBP. The majority of evicted travellers have moved onto relatives’ plots on the directly adjacent Oak Lane site.
