The Annual Kid's Fish Day will be held on Saturday, June 4th at the Magnolia Ridge Fish Pond, open from 8:00 a.m. until dark.

We got word from this cool event from the Natural Resources Specialist, Patrick Atwell of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. We've spoke with them before, and they always find a way to keep fun events safe for everyone involved. Here's what you need to know about the Annual Kid's Fish Day on Saturday, June 4th.

Magnolia Ridge Park is located on Farm to Market Road 92, north of Highway 190. Take FM 92 north, turn right on Magnolia 1, and follow the signs.

The event is FREE for youth ages 15 and under.  This year, Big Thicket, Martin Dies Jr. State Park and Corps Water safety booths will be added along with trophies for tagged fish, and certificates for "first fish" until noon.

Bring your own fishing pole, bait, and lunch.
