A Group Of Radio DJs Play Dungeons & Dragons [VIDEO]
A lot of great classic rock came out of the 70's and 80's, but something else was born in the 70's that we wanted to shine a light on.
We are talking about the tabletop role playing game known as Dungeons and Dragons, or affectionately known as DnD.
DnD was created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson back in 1974, the same year many rock legends hit their stride and became household names.
The relationship with the Tolkien-esque tabletop game and classic rock seriously go hand in hand. Click this link if you want to see the top ten ‘The Hobbit’ / ‘Lord of the Rings’ references in songs from Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and more.
I like to imagine, kids were listening to Zeppelin records while rolling dice in the basement, and even though the game and the music of the seventies has changed a lot, many people choose to remain in that decade, "role playing" the best times over and over again.
