A Thanksgiving Note To East Texas…And Everywhere Else, Too
Well, here we are again, at Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving means something different to everyone, because everyone has different things to be thankful for. Family, friends, jobs, pets, etc. Each of us can find something to be thankful for.
If you're one of those people that's sitting there thinking that you don't really have anything to be thankful for, think again. I mean, you're sitting there with electricity, internet, out of the elements, so those are just a few things. But I want to encourage you to look even deeper this Thanksgiving.
Take time to really look into what you've got. You've got freedoms that so many others don't. We're free to have our opinions on everything from fast food choices to government officials. We're free to worship how we want to, or if you're so inclined, to not worship at all. We have all these freedoms, and that should mean so much to each of us.
So, this Thanksgiving, take time to really be thankful. Whether you're with family and friends, whether you're hanging out by yourself, or whether you're spending Thanksgiving with coworkers, say a quick thanks.
And, to all of you reading this, thanks for reading, and thanks for being loyal listeners. Seriously, thank you.
And, Happy Thanksgiving.
