Would you want to watch a show where the artist isn't really live on stage in front of you?

Alice Cooper will perform on May 11th in London...but as a hologram.   Cooper's image will be beamed to London, along with the original surviving lineup of his band.  The band will actually be on stage at a studio in Hollywood.   The concert marks the first ever 4-D holographic performance in the UK.

Cooper said in a statement it's "the ultimate theatre, a cutting-edge conjuring trick that celebrates the future and our history. We can’t wait to see the results."

Becoming a hologram isn't new territory for Cooper.  In 1973, artist SALVADOR DALI used the singer as the subject of the world's first piece of 3-D holographic art.
