The Blue Bell Lone Star Scoop Tour is Coming to Deep East Texas

Way back in March, I wrote up a post about Blue Bell's Lone Star Scoop Tour. The folks at Blue Bell were planning to make their way to all different store locations with a truck and trailer, handing out ice cream and Blue Bell merchandise. Since then, I've kept an eye on the tour's progress, waiting to see if they would make it out our way. Well, it's finally happening - the Blue Bell Lone Star Scoop Tour is making its way through this area, with several stops at stores in our Deep East Texas community.

The Lone Star Scoop Tour is Coming to Deep East Texas

According to the Blue Bell website, the East Texas portion of the Lone Star Scoop Tour kicked off today, August 31st, in Crockett. The East Texas portion of the tour will be hitting several of our Deep East Texas towns including Crockett, Kirbyville, Jasper, Center, Lufkin, Shepherd, Coldspring, Hemphill, San Augustine, Nacogdoches, Livingston, Trinity, Onalaska, Woodville and Huntington.

If I counted correctly, you have 21 chances to catch the Lone Star Scoop tour in Deep East Texas over the course of two weeks. If you're a Blue Bell fan, that shouldn't be too much of an issue to make at least one of those stops.

However, if you absolutely can't make it out during the tour itself, you can always stop by one of those locations any other day of the week and pick up some of the ice cream off the store shelves.
