Get Ready To Miss Brendyn’s BBQ Breakfast Until August
Around here in Deep East Texas, we love our barbeque. We could eat it for all three meals of the day. In fact, one of our local barbeque restaurants in Nacogdoches offers it for all three meals...or at least they did until today...
Brendyn's BBQ Done Serving Breakfast Until August
May 1st, Brendyn's BBQ served their last breakfast until August. This was confirmed on the Brendyn's BBQ Facebook page. They finished out their service from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM with a choice of tacos (bacon, egg and cheese or brisket, egg and cheese), brisket & gravy (a large biscuit with sausage gravy and - you guessed it - topped with brisket and a fried egg) or massive smoked cinnamon rolls.
This wasn't a one-and-done deal. They've been serving breakfast semi-regularly throughout the year. However, this time there will be a gap of several months instead of just a few weeks.
This Change Isn't Cause for Concern
Before any of you start speculating, no this is not a cause for concern. You will still be able to get your Pig Apple, Garebear, or any other menu item fix throughout the week. You'll just have to do so during regular lunch or dinner hours. Those hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

If I had to guess, I'd say that they're pausing to give their employees a break, not to mention their equipment. So, I'm sure they'll take this opportunity to pause, focus on their regular menu and schedule, then in August they'll bring back the breakfast options.
There's also one other thing to consider: They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. So, at the end of this pause, just think about how much better that breakfast is going to taste. You can make it.
