On September 26, 2012, I reported that Bonnie Franklin, the star of the 1970s television sitcom "One Day At A Time", was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  Today, she passed away from the disease.

"Time" was a highly rated show that garnered top ratings in its prime.  Running from '75-'84, Franklin, a single mom, brought up two daughters (Valerie Bertinelli and Mackenzie Phillips).  Her "Ann Romano" character received both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
Most recently (2012) she made an appearance on "The Young and the Restless", and in 2011, she showed up on Bertinelli's program, "Hot in Cleveland".
Bonnie Franklin was 69 years old.
