I never expected a move this quickly.

I believe everybody knew that following this year's substandard season for the Cowboys that Jason Garrett would be out as the head coach for Dallas.  But, I thought it would take at least until February for the vetting process to produce a new head coach for the team.  Looks like I was way off.

According to a report, the Cowboys are going to name former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy as the successor to Jason Garrett.  If this is the case, what kind of working relationship will Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones have with him.  In other words, will Jones give up the limelight or will he still demand top billing with all things concerning the Cowboys?

We'll see.
