Drive In Movie Theater Opens At Crystal Beach

Everyone in East Texas loves being able to make a day trip to Crystal Beach and Galveston. It is a great selling point for living here. Lakes, we got um, and a quick drive south can put you right on the beach. Lots of us go to Crystal Beach, so any new attraction there is always big news around here.

The Starz-n-Carz Drive-in Movie Theater is open mainly on Friday and Saturday nights, with some thoughts of adding a Sunday in there occasionally if there are holidays. They are located at 1605 Hwy Crystal Beach, Texas. That's festival park, where they usually host the Crab Fest. Gates open at 7:15pm and movies are at 8:15pm

Up to six people in a vehicle is only 29$ that's like $4:80 a person, so it's a deal. The prices is right, and this might be the nostalgia that makes your Bolivar/Crystal Beach weekend memorable.

You can walk in and bring chairs, or bring some bean bags for the back of the truck. They have speakers outside so you can hear the movie, and they are also using an FM transmitter so you can tune in with your car radio.

This past Labor Day weekend they showed Jumanji - Welcome To The Jungle. They haven't really made it clear what this weekends

Food, just like at the movie theater will be available. BBQ Sandwiches, Street Tacos, BBQ, Soft Drinks Popcorn, candy all sold on site. This is a new business, and David and his family have done a great job with this huge inflatable screen.
