Get Ready For The East Texas Fishing Tackle Swap Meet

If you're searching for fishing gear, there's an event coming to Deep East Texas that might be just for you, whether you're just getting into fishing or you're an old pro.

Fishing Tackle Swap Meet Coming to Hemphill

According to a Facebook post from the Sabine County Reporter, on Saturday, June 6th, the East Texas Fishing Tackle Swap Meet will be coming to the Sabine County Rodeo Arena in Hemphill. It starts at 8:00 AM and goes until 5:00 PM. There will be all kinds of fishing gear, including rods, reels, depth finders, tackle boxes, baits, and more. Apparently, anything fishing-related is welcome at this event.

This is a chance for fishermen of all ages to buy, sell, or trade gear to make sure that they're ready to hit the water.

Vendor Information for Fishing Tackle Swap Meet

If you're a vendor, you can reserve a space at the arena for $25.00. To reserve a space, you can call Mike Knight at 936-635-2427. Vendors can set up on Friday before the event between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM, or they can set up the day of the event from 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM.

There will be overnight security on Friday, so vendors don't have to worry about leaving their merchandise and booths set up at the arena.
