East Texas Poll – Lake Or Ocean?

This week's poll is a simple one. Do you prefer going to the lake, or to the ocean?

Being from east Texas, it's so easy to get to the lake. I mean, come on, we've got Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend only a stone's throw away. And there's plenty to do there. You can fish, ski, tube, swim, etc.

However, we're not too far away to drive down to the beach. Whether it's Galveston, Rockport, Corpus Christi, or another beach, it's always a fun day to spend time in the sand with the family.

I realize that these aren't the only options. People swear by going to the beaches in Florida. Heck, my personal favorite is Ocho Rios, Jamaica! And of course there are so many other choices in lakes too. We're obviously not limited by the two lakes that I mentioned earlier.

So what I want to know is: which do you prefer? Do you prefer the saltwater breeze down on the coast? Or do you prefer the easy freshwater on the lake?
