East Texas Poll – Laptops Or Tablets?

In today's world, we have so much technology, and each piece of technology is capable of doing so many different things. Today's poll focuses on two pieces of tech that are fairly close to each other, but are just different enough to cause people to prefer one over the other. Laptops or tablets?

As someone that has owned both of these devices, I've seen both the ups and downs for each.

On the one hand, you've got laptops. Laptops are (generally) capable of holding more data than tablets. No, they aren't as portable as tablets but that's alright, in my opinion. Also, they've got a built in keyboard. Yes, that's the feature that makes them less portable, but I am actually a big fan of a literal keyboard, as opposed to a virtual, touch-screen one. I realize that you can buy separate keyboards for tablets, but that's just one more thing for me to try to keep up with. Keyboards are already connected to laptops.

On the other hand, there are tablets. Apple, Samsung, whatever, they're basically the same. They allow you to do many of the same things that a laptop would do. In my opinion, the fact that tablets are so portable - as I mentioned earlier - is what makes them so useful. Also, you are able to get apps on tablets that aren't always available on laptops.

So there you have it. I personally am a bigger fan of laptops than tablets. Maybe you don't agree with me. Let us know in the poll below!
