I know it's been awhile since we did an East Texas poll, but I've got a new question that's popped up in several conversations lately, and I want to see what the general opinion is on it.

What kind of gym do you prefer?

Here in East Texas, we have a little bit of everything. There are the basic gyms, that come with, say, some treadmills, yoga/stretching areas, maybe some light weights.

Then we've got the gyms that cover everything. They've got the weight machines, they've got free-weights for like squats, bench press, etc. You know the ones that I'm talking about? Like Planet Fitness locations?

Then, there are the gyms that take it even a step further, adding things like pools, basketball courts, tennis courts, and outdoor tracks. These gyms are more like Gains & Glory, or even Livewell Athletic Club.

And then, there are the intense workout gyms. These are the ones like Crossfit gyms. They are more for people looking to bulk up quick.

Each type of gym that I mentioned above brings something different to the table. They're all unique in their own way, nothing really wrong with one type or another.

So, that brings me back to my original question: What kind of gym do you prefer? Let us know.
