Four-Story Parking Garage Planned for Downtown Nacogdoches
Everyone in Nacogdoches has been keeping an eye on Elliott Electric, because they've been working on relocating their original headquarters from where it currently sits on Stallings Drive to a new space on Main Street. There was also talk of them adding a multi-story parking garage with it. Well, it just so turns out that the parking garage project is registered and on its way.
Elliott Electric Parking Garage Project Registered with TDLR
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation website, on September 25th the Elliott Electric Parking Garage project was registered with the state. This is going to be just under 133,000 square feet and will be four stories tall. The entire project has an estimated cost of $16,000,000.

The address for the new structure is 310 East Pilar Street. If you put that address into Google Maps, it shows that that location is directly behind where the new Elliott Electric office will be, and where the previous drive-thru was for Regions Bank - which has been completely torn down.
I don't know if the new structure will be in that exact spot, or if it will be in that general vicinity, considering that entire area is currently a parking lot. I do know that due to the slope of the land and all of the prep work that will have to be done, it's going to be quite the undertaking to make this happen.

If they are able to stick with the projected timelines from the TDLR website, construction is set to begin on January 4, 2027, and is supposed to be completed by November 1, 2027.
