Frank Cady, Mr. Drucker of ‘Green Acres’, Dead at 96 [VIDEO]

Classic Rockers may not know Frank Cady as a household name, but you are sure to remember the name "Sam Drucker"  -  the general store proprietor from fictional Hooterville, who made supporting cast appearances on the television shows, Green Acres, Petticoat Junction, and The Beverly Hillbillies -  where he played a recurring character on all three programs.

In a 1995 interview with the Portland Oregonian, Cady said:

"You get typecast.  I'm remembered for those shows and not for some

pretty good acting  jobs I did other times.  I suppose I ought to be grateful

for that, because otherwise I wouldn't be remembered at all.  I've got to

be one of the luckiest guys in the world."

Frank Cady was 96 years old.
