It really doesn't seem like nine years since the Fredonia Brewery opened in downtown Nacogdoches. It's hard to believe that it's been that long since they cleared the space formerly occupied by Dragonfly Nursery and made that space their own. But it happened, and since 2017 they've been cranking out the brews, hosting music festivals, crawfish boils, watch parties, and so much more.

Now, to celebrate their 9th anniversary, they're doing what they always do - opening up the brewery, bringing in live music, food trucks, and celebrating. And it looks to be awesome.

Saturday, March 7th Will Be "9 Years in the Pines"

Starting at Noon on Saturday, March 7, 2026 the Fredonia Brewery will officially be celebrating their 9th anniversary, and they're calling it "9 Years in the Pines". The food truck Shali's Indian Kitchen on Wheels will be set up serving authentic Indian food all day during the event, and the on-site pizza kitchen, Rebellion Pizza, will be available as well.

At 6:00 PM that evening the local band, Huffie and the Paintfish will take the stage to perform and will be going until 9:00 that night. As they say, they're "your mom's favorite cover band".

New Anniversary Glassware Will Be Available

And, what celebration at the Fredonia Brewery would be complete without a new glass to add to the collection?? They will have special glasses featuring the nine flags that have flown over Nacogdoches, along with the anniversary date to commemorate this momentous occasion.

As much as they've done in the past nine years, it should be pretty awesome to see what the Fredonia Brewery crew does for the next nine, and the ninety-nine after that!
