Greta Van Fleet will kick off their North American tour in style, with an appearance at the Coachella music festival on April 13.

The band - who burst onto the scene last year with a heavily Led Zeppelin-influenced sound that earned praise from fans, critics and even Robert Plant - will also make a bunch of other festival appearances this year. But first they will record their debut LP, which they've started to work on. You can see a full list of tour dates below.

Five dates on the tour — Houston, Dallas, Nashville and a double-header in Detroit — sold out within minutes of last week's sale. "We love making music and we love playing shows, but we never expected anything like the attention we've been getting," bassist Sam Kiszka wrote in a press release. "We are truly humbled by the response we've gotten, and are very excited to get back on the road and play for our fans."

Brothers Josh, Sam and Jake Kiszka and their longtime friend Danny Wager comprise the group that formed in Frankenmuth, Mich., in 2012. They quickly drew interest, first with their live record Greta Van Fleet: Live in Detroit in 2014, and then with their debut EP, Black Smoke Rising, in April 2017. Their first single, "Highway Tune," reached No. 1 on the rock chart, and their second, "Safari Song," included on From the Fires, a double EP released in November, also reached the Top 10.

The band is currently recording its first studio album in Nashville and Detroit with Al Sutton and Marlon Young, the duo that produced the earlier EPs. Songs have been written over the past few years, as well as from a particularly busy week spent in the Tennessee woods last year. They anticipate a spring or early summer release.

"Each of us has his own set of influences, so that brings a great diversity to the music we make," guitarist Jake Kiszka wrote. "Every one of our songs has its own unique complexities and we'd like for the full album to showcase that diversity, let people see what we can really do."

Additional tour dates are on the horizon. Those shows that have already been announced go on sale on Jan. 26. You can visit Greta Van Fleet's website for more info.
