I Need Your Help East Texas! What Kind Of Dog Is The Best?

Growing up in East Texas, we always had dogs. I started with a golden retriever, and have had dogs for most of my life. However, I haven't had a dog in a few years now, and I think it's been on my mind to get one.

But the thing is...what kind should I get? I know what kind I want to get, but what are y'all's takes on dogs? Should I get one from the list below, or something else?

So, out of the hundreds of dog breeds, there are only six listed above. If you were choosing a dog, would it be on of these? Or, would it be a different one? Why or why not? Feel free to drop any ideas or input in the comment section below!
