Investigation and Aid Efforts Continue After West, TX Explosion

This is one of the first reports to come last night regarding the fertilizer plant explosion in West, off of Interstate 35 between Dallas and Waco.  This is the Dallas NBC affiliate, beginning to piece together what happened.

Since then, police have said between 5 and 15 people are dead, more than a hundred injured, and countless homes have been leveled.

Texans who want to do something to help but don't know what to do, can donate blood to the Red Cross, or Carter Blood Care (today, April 18 at Central Elementary!).  With so many tragic stories making headlines this week, blood will be in demand, and now is a great time to contribute.
