Today, Steven Q. Urkel would be so proud. It is, in fact, National Cheese Day. So, whether you're a fan of cheddar, mozzarella, colby-jack, muenster, gouda, or any other cheese, it's time to celebrate.

You know, a great way to celebrate might be to consider going to one of our local Mexican food restaurants, and ordering a large bowl of steaming queso. Now that more restaurants are opening up, we can do that again! It's fantastic!

Or, should you choose, you could make your own cheese dip! *DISCLAIMER: I don't have a recipe to insert here for cheese dip, queso, etc. You'll have to look it up on your own.*

But yes, it is National Cheese Day! Maybe you could order up a pizza to celebrate. Or, you could run down to the store and pick up some of those refrigerated string cheese sticks. Ooooh...there's a thought: CHEESE STICKS! That ooey, gooey, melted mozzarella, deep-fried goodness! That's a perfect snack for National Cheese Day!

The options are basically endless.

If you think this seems goofy, consider this: We could choose National Cheese Day, or National Hug Your Cat Day. You choose which one is better...

So, now that you've been made aware of what day it is, you can now go celebrate. Order that cheeseburger with an extra slice of cheddar greatness, and know that you're celebrating RIGHT.

Happy National Cheese Day, East Texas!
